Coach Russel is beginning his first season at Focus Elite Sports and Mentoring as a head coach and is an overall avid supporter of the program. Russel grew up in football country in South Arkansas where he learned to love the sport at a young age. He primarily played running back and receiver positions throughout his football career, in which his team earned state and conference titles. Russel and his wife have 2 players at Focus Elite Sports and Mentoring that benefit from this amazing organization not only as players but, as developing young adults. Professionally, he works as a consultant in some of the most demanding and highly regulated industries in our country. He overseas approximately 90 employees worldwide and brings his professional experience as a leader to our young community members at Focus Elite Sports and Mentoring – reinforcing and instilling values they can use on and off the field such as effort, grind, hustle, mental toughness and FOCUS.
